ABOUT
I make art to spread joy, inspire change, and make the revolution irresistible.
I paint by hand on purpose! Then scan, collage, and manipulate my work digitally.
I’ve always been an artist. I’ve also:
-
Co-founded, taught, and led at a public Montessori middle and high school,
-
Founded and run a youth urban farming non-profit,
-
Organized for labor rights, health care reform, justice in Israel and Palestine, and other progressive issues.
I’m a Mom, a voracious reader, Jewish, fat, and living with a chronic illness. I live and work in a 135 year-old house in Denver with my family and cats.
Education:
-
Grinnell College, BA in Anthropology and Studio Art
-
Goddard College, MA in Sustainable Business and Community
